About Whisper Windows
Custom windows. Considered from the inside.
Whisper Windows is a New York–based company designing and installing custom interior window systems for apartments, homes, and buildings.
Soundproofing and insulation, together
Our systems work with existing windows to address outside noise, drafts, and thermal comfort. We add a custom interior layer, with the panel, air space, and seal considered as a complete system.
A recommendation for your actual windows
There is no single panel for every problem. We consider mounting style, material, thickness, divisions, and custom details alongside your goals, everyday access, aesthetics, and budget.
A coordinated local service
Our full-service approach brings recommendation, measurement, custom fabrication, and installation together. Reversible and non-structural options are considered for the actual opening, including rentals and original windows.
Built around real spaces and people
We work with renters, homeowners, property managers, building owners, and project professionals. NYC apartments, pre-war homes, brownstones, modern high-rises, and small commercial spaces all present different conditions.
What guides our work
Practical engineering, clean aesthetics, and useful everyday access guide the design. We explain configuration choices and performance expectations so you can make an informed decision before proceeding.
NYC and surrounding areas
We are based in New York City and serve NYC and surrounding areas, including Northern New Jersey. Share your ZIP code to confirm full-service availability. Ship-out and self-install options are scoped separately.
