Resource Guide
Panel Materials
Choose the panel material as part of the full window configuration.
Materials and the complete system
Our existing product information describes acrylic / plexiglass as a default material and polycarbonate / lexan as an option on request. Availability and suitability should be confirmed for the proposed configuration.
What guides the selection?
Sound and thermal goals, panel size, weight, appearance, handling, and cleaning requirements all matter. Material alone does not determine the performance of an installed assembly.
Plan for ongoing care
Confirm the care instructions for the specified material and any coating. Avoid assuming that a cleaner suitable for glass is also suitable for the panel.
