General Contractors
Coordinate field conditions, scope, quoting, and installation sequencing.
Define the scope early
Share a window schedule, approximate sizes, photos, project location, and the client’s sound or thermal goals. Identify who owns field verification, approvals, and finish decisions.
Document field conditions
Include the surrounding substrate, trim, clearances, operating hardware, shades, and AC/PTAC equipment. Measurements depend on the final mounting surfaces.
Coordinate measurement and installation
Discuss readiness of finished surfaces, access, protection, work hours, and other trades. Confirm the measurement and fabrication sequence before relying on a delivery date.
Quote a defined configuration
The quote should identify panel materials, thicknesses, divisions, mounting details, equipment treatments, and installation scope. Changes to site conditions or configuration may require a revised quote.
Pricing & scope
Pricing depends on the dimensions, materials, thickness, mounting, panel divisions, and installation conditions. Your assessment establishes a configuration and scope; an example from another project is not a quote for your space.
